Dubois Construction is a business owned by Vermont Lt. Governor Phil Scott. On 01-06-12, the company's main building burned to the ground with most of the central Vermont business's trucks, heavy equipment and records destroyed in the massive blaze.

Fire fighters from departments around central Vermont responded to the scene. A lack of immediate access to water meant firemen were forced to wait for tanker trucks to refill at a river near the scene after each trucks on-board water reserve ran dry.
